Indian Cricket Team Lost The Second Test Match At Centurion & Twitter Lost Its Cool

Indian cricket team has lost the second test match in Centurion against South Africa by 135 runs with South African bowler, Lungi Ngidi becoming Man of the Match after taking six wickets. It was debut match for Lungi.

The Indian team management and captain, Virat Kohli were already getting slammed for their decisions regarding team selection and after losing the series, the criticism will increase further. India has lost a series after winning 9 test series continuously.

The Indian cricket fans got upset when the test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane was dropped for the first match as he was considered a far better choice in comparison to Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. However, Ajinkya was not included in the team for the second test match even after losing the first match.

The exclusion of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar from the second test match after performing well in the first match didn’t went down well even with the former cricketers such as Virender Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar was not happy when Shikhar Dhawan was dropped after first test match.

The inclusion of Parthiv Patel was the biggest topic of discussion as he was never considered a good wicketkeeper and taking him to South Africa is something which no one understood other than the captain, coach and selectors.

This is how twitterati reacted after India’s loss in the second test match:

What do you think, will Indian team bounce back in third test match?
