Panchayat Fame Actor Aasif Khan Suffers Heart Attack, Shares Recovery Update

Aasif Khan assures fans of his recovery after heart attack

Actor Aasif Khan, widely recognized for his impressive performances in popular web series like Paatal Lok and Panchayat, recently faced a major health scare. Two days ago, the 34-year-old actor suffered a heart attack and was immediately admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, as reported by a leading publication. Fortunately, his condition is now stable, and doctors expect he will be discharged soon. 

Taking to Instagram, Aasif offered an emotional health update to his fans and followers. He posted a heartfelt note along with a photo from his hospital bed, writing, “Life is short, don’t take a single day for granted. Everything can change in a moment. Be grateful for all you have and cherish those who matter most. Life is a gift, and we are blessed.”


 
In another update, he shared that he had been dealing with certain health issues which required hospitalization but was now on the path to recovery. “I’m grateful to share that I’m now on the road to recovery and feeling much better. I truly appreciate all the love, concern, and well-wishes,” he wrote. Aasif concluded his message with, “Your support means the world to me. I’ll be back very soon. Until then, thank you for keeping me in your thoughts.”

Aasif Khan is best known for playing Ganesh in Panchayat, the critically acclaimed comedy-drama series on Prime Video, which features a stellar cast including Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha.

He also made a strong impact in Paatal Lok Season 1, portraying the role of Kabir M, a suspect in the gritty crime-thriller series starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishwak Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Niharika Lyra Dutta.

Aasif Khan's versatility has extended to his role as Anas Ahmad in the Netflix crime series Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega. His journey in the entertainment industry began with roles as a junior artist in Bollywood hits like Ready (2011) and Agneepath (2012). He went on to feature in films such as Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), Pagglait (2021), and Kakuda (2024). His latest appearance was in the horror-comedy The Bhootni.
