Why “Old India” Was Wiser Than “New India”: 7 Forgotten Ideas We Must Revive

In chasing the future, are we forgetting the wisdom that once made India truly incredible? Let’s rewind to the roots and rethink the rush.

India is growing fast. But are we growing in the right direction?

In our obsession with “development,” “startups,” and “5G,” we may have lost touch with the timeless values and ideas that once made Bharat a beacon of wisdom for the world.

Today, let’s talk about “7 forgotten Indian ideas” that hold the power to transform modern India,  if only we dare to revive them.

1. Dharma Over Drama:

Our ancestors believed in dharma, the righteous path, duty over desire. Today, we are obsessed with optics, image management, and online drama. But imagine if every citizen, from politicians to influencers, prioritized duty over publicity.

2.  Local Before Global:

India once thrived on self, sustaining villages, local economies, and artisans. Today, we import many things, from Chinese electronics to Western ideals. It's time to revisit Swadeshi 2.0, not as a boycott, but as economic common sense. Though a lot has been done in this direction in the last few years but a lot remains to be done.

3.  Education That Builds Character:

Ancient gurukuls didn’t just create engineers, they shaped sages, warriors, poets. Our current system? Produces degree holders who chase marks, not meaning or wisdom.  Can NEP 2020 bring back purpose, driven education?

4.  Debate, Not Divide:

In ancient India, shastrarth  (philosophical debates) were a tradition. Today, we yell on news panels or cancel online. Can we bring back the art of civilized disagreement?

5.  Nature Is Not a Resource – It’s a Relationship:

From rivers to trees, Indian culture treated nature as sacred. Today, we treat it like a commodity.  Climate action in India doesn’t need to mimic the West. We already had the blueprint, we just need to follow it again.

6.  Spirituality Without Superstition:

We once produced minds like Adi Shankaracharya and Swami Vivekananda, deeply rational, deeply spiritual. But today, many either blindly follow or blindly reject. Can we rebuild a spirituality that is intelligent, inclusive, and inner-driven?

7.  Community Over Consumerism:

We lived in joint families, not Instagram bubbles. We helped neighbors, not just algorithms. In chasing success, we forgot sangha (community). And now we’re all scrolling alone. It’s time to return to real connections.

The Takeaways from this discussion:

  1. We don’t need to choose between Old India and New India.
  2. We need to blend ancient wisdom with modern innovation.
  3. The future belongs to nations that remember where they came from.

What do YOU think we’ve forgotten as a country? Let’s start the conversation.

The Secret To Your Success: A Simple Shift In Perspective

Unlock your true potential! Discover the one simple shift that can change your life and set you on the path to success.

Success. It's a word we all chase, a goal we strive for, but what does it really mean? For some, it's financial freedom. For others, it's a fulfilling career. And for many, it's finding peace and happiness. But regardless of your definition, the path to achieving it often feels overwhelming. We're bombarded with advice—work harder, network more, wake up at 5 a.m.—but what if the secret isn't in what you do, but in how you see things?

In a world filled with chaos and noise, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters. We get caught up in comparing ourselves to others, in chasing external validation, and in the endless cycle of trying to be "perfect." But what if the most powerful tool you have for success is already within you?

The secret lies in a simple, yet profound, shift in perspective, "Gratitude.”

It's not just a feel-good emotion; it's a mindset that rewires your brain. When you choose to focus on what you have instead of what you lack, you open yourself up to a world of possibility. Gratitude transforms your outlook, turning challenges into opportunities and setbacks into lessons.

How to Practice a Gratitude-Focused Mindset:

Start Small: Begin each day by listing three things you're grateful for. They don't have to be monumental; it could be the morning chai, a warm bed, or a good book. This simple act trains your brain to look for the good.

Reframe Your Challenges: Instead of complaining about a difficult task at work, be grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow. Instead of getting frustrated by traffic, appreciate the time it gives you to listen to a podcast or your favorite music.

Show Appreciation: Expressing gratitude to others not only strengthens your relationships but also reinforces your own positive mindset. A simple "thank you" can go a long way.

This isn't just about positive thinking; it's about actively changing your relationship with the world around you. By making gratitude a daily practice, you'll find that success isn't just a destination—it's a journey, and every step of the way is an opportunity to be celebrated.

So, are you ready to unlock the secret to your success? It's all in how you see it.

Did Virat Kohli Dated Actress Tamannaah Bhatia? Tamannaah Reveals The Truth

She Also Talked About Her Marriage With Abdul Razzaq

Tamannaah Bhatia, a familiar figure in Indian cinema, recently spoke out about a recurring issue in her career: unsubstantiated rumors. With a successful career spanning multiple film industries and streaming platforms, she often finds herself at the center of speculation. In a recent interview, she addressed persistent gossip linking her romantically to two prominent cricket players.

Tamannaah Bhatia clarified that her interaction with one of the cricketers, Virat Kohli, was limited to a single day for a commercial shoot over a decade ago. She emphasized that they have had no contact since, putting an end to long-standing dating rumors that were sparked by a viral photo from that shoot.

She also tackled an even more unusual rumor that claimed she had secretly married former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq. She laughingly dismissed the story, explaining that a photo of them at a jewelry store was a pure coincidence, as they were both simply attending the store's opening. She apologized to Razzaq, humorously acknowledging that the internet had briefly "married" her to a man who already had children.

Tamannaah Bhatia reflected on the awkwardness of being falsely linked to people she barely knows. She acknowledged the helplessness that comes with fame, stating that there's little one can do to control public perception. While accepting that people will believe what they want, she handles the constant scrutiny with humor and a grounded perspective.

Shah Rukh Khan, The King Of Bollywood Finally Wins His First National Award

In a monumental moment that has sent ripples of joy through the Indian film industry and his global fanbase, Shah Rukh Khan has won his first-ever National Award for his performance in the blockbuster film Jawan. The prestigious recognition for Best Actor, which he shares with Vikrant Massey for 12th Fail, marks a significant and long-awaited milestone in his illustrious career spanning over three decades.

The win for his dual roles as Vikram Rathore and his son Azad in Atlee's high-octane action film is a testament to Khan's enduring talent and versatility. While fans and critics have long argued for his National Award eligibility for earlier performances in films like Swades and Chak De! India, the recognition for Jawan is particularly poignant. The film was not only a massive commercial success but also a powerful social commentary, allowing Khan to deliver a performance that blended his signature charisma with a profound sense of purpose.

Reacting to the honor, Khan expressed his gratitude, humility, and the sense of responsibility the award carries. He thanked the jury, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, his directors—especially Atlee—and his family for their unwavering support. He viewed the award not as a "finish line" but as "fuel to continue striving, learning, and giving back" to cinema.

This achievement, a first for both Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey, underscores a year of exceptional performances and further solidifies the superstar's legacy as the "King of Bollywood." Now, 21 years later, Shah Rukh Khan has won the National Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Jawan. His award was announced by jury chairman for the feature films category, Ashutosh Gowariker, the director of Swades. Fans were elated to note this happy coincidence and took to social media to express their joy.

7 Ways To Get Blessings Of Bhagwan Ganesh

Bhagwan Ganesh, the elephant-headed deity, is one of the most beloved and worshipped gods in the Hindu pantheon. He is revered as the remover of obstacles, the god of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. Devotees often seek his blessings before starting any new venture.

But how can one truly make Bhagwan Ganesh happy? It's a blend of sincere devotion, adherence to rituals, and embodying the virtues he represents.

1. Offer Modak and Other Favorites:

Ganesh Ji is famously fond of Modak, a sweet dumpling. Offering freshly made Modak is a surefire way to please him. Other favorites include ladoos, especially motichoor ladoo, and various fruits like bananas and pomegranates.

2. Decorate with Durva Grass:

Durva (Bermuda grass) is considered highly sacred to Lord Ganesh. Offering a garland or a bunch of 21 blades of durva grass is believed to be very pleasing to him and brings blessings.

3. Chant Mantras and Aartis:

Reciting Ganesh mantras like "Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha" or "Vakratunda Mahakaya" with devotion can invoke his presence and blessings. Performing Ganesh Aarti, especially with camphor and lamps, creates a spiritual atmosphere and pleases the deity.

4. Keep a Clean and Pure Environment:

Ganesh Ji is associated with purity and auspiciousness. Maintaining cleanliness in your home and puja area is crucial. A clean and serene environment is conducive to inviting his divine energy.

5. Practice Humility and Selflessness:

Ganesh Ji, despite his immense power, embodies humility. Offering service to others, practicing selflessness, and letting go of ego are spiritual practices that align with his virtues and bring his blessings.

6. Seek His Blessings Before New Beginnings:

Before embarking on any significant task, business venture, or journey, offering a simple prayer to Lord Ganesh for success and obstacle removal is a common and effective practice. This shows respect and faith in his power to clear the path.

7. Observe Ganesh Chaturthi with Devotion:

Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival celebrating his birth, is the most significant day to honor him. Observing fasts, performing elaborate pujas, and participating in community celebrations on this day are highly meritorious and bring immense joy to Ganesh Ji.

Ultimately, making Bhagwan Ganesh happy is about cultivating a sincere heart filled with devotion, faith, and good intentions. When you offer your prayers and actions with love and purity, his blessings are sure to follow, paving the way for success and well-being.

DYK What Sanjay Dutt Did With Rs.72 Crore Property Left By A Female Fan Before Dying?

Dutt’s Act Will Make You Respect Him

Sanjay Dutt recently shared an extraordinary episode from his life—an event as surreal as it was humbling. In a candid moment during an interview, the actor confirmed the truth behind a long-circulated story: a woman had indeed left him property worth Rs 72 crore. What followed, however, speaks volumes about Dutt’s values. He chose not to accept the windfall and instead returned the entire inheritance to the woman’s family.

The origin of this astonishing gesture dates back to 2018, when Nisha Patil, a 62-year-old Mumbai homemaker and devoted admirer of Dutt, succumbed to a terminal illness. Before her passing, she had instructed her bank to transfer all her assets to the actor. Her bequest, driven by years of deep admiration, took Dutt by surprise. While most would find it tempting to accept such an unexpected fortune, he simply said, “I gave it back to her family,” offering no dramatics—just a quiet decision rooted in conscience.

Dutt, whose career began with the 1981 film Rocky, has since become one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring figures. With iconic roles in Vidhaata, Naam, Saajan, Khal Nayak, and Vaastav, he earned a reputation for his rugged charm and emotional depth. However, his journey hasn’t been without hardship. The actor’s name became embroiled in controversy when he was arrested under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act in connection with the 1993 Bombay blasts. Though acquitted under TADA, he was convicted under the Arms Act for illegal weapons possession and served a five-year sentence, completing his term in 2016 after several releases on parole.

Despite these setbacks, Dutt staged a triumphant return to the silver screen with the 2003 hit Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., a film that not only revived his career but also captured the hearts of millions. His tumultuous life was further immortalized in the 2018 biopic Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Ranbir Kapoor, which became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

Now, as he approaches four decades in the industry, Dutt remains as active as ever. The year 2025 alone features a packed slate, with Bhootnii and Housefull 5 already released and three more titles—Akhanda 2, Dhurandhar, and The RajaSaab—awaiting theatrical debuts. His cinematic journey is also set to continue into 2026 with the Kannada film KD – The Devil.

In an industry often defined by glamour and excess, Sanjay Dutt’s gesture to return a fan’s immense gift serves as a poignant reminder that humanity and humility can still take center stage.

From ‘Panda’ to ‘Macho’: Sarfaraz Khan’s Jaw-Dropping Transformation Goes Viral

Once mocked for his fitness, the talented Indian batter is now turning heads with a chiseled physique, recalling Virat Kohli’s tough love and the journey from struggle to spotlight.

Sarfaraz Khan’s Incredible Fitness Journey Makes Waves Again

On July 21, Sarfaraz Khan returned to the spotlight—not for his on-field heroics, but for his astonishing physical transformation. The 27-year-old Indian cricketer, often in the news for his fitness challenges over the years, is now being widely praised for his new avatar, which he proudly showcased in recent photos.

This isn’t Sarfaraz’s first fitness evolution. Around five years ago, he underwent a similar transformation, one he attributed to the influence of former Indian captain Virat Kohli. The Mumbai-born batter began his IPL career in 2015 with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), but after three seasons, he was released and eventually picked up by Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 2019.

Virat Kohli’s Candid Advice That Changed Everything

Looking back at the turning point in his fitness journey, Sarfaraz recalled the moment Virat Kohli gave him a reality check during the 2016 IPL season. Though his cricketing talent was never in question, Kohli made it clear that a lack of fitness was the barrier preventing Sarfaraz from achieving the next level in his career.

He openly admitted that being dropped from the RCB squad due to fitness was a wake-up call. Kohli’s honest feedback—that skills were not the issue but fitness was—struck a chord with Sarfaraz and led to a mindset shift.

During the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season, his improved fitness paid dividends as he piled on runs and silenced critics. Speaking on that phase, Sarfaraz revealed how his teammates used to affectionately call him ‘Panda’ for his eating habits. But the nickname has now changed to ‘Macho’—a transformation that reflects not just his physical state but his mental resolve as well.

Mixed Fortunes in the IPL and National Comeback

Despite consistently performing in domestic cricket, Sarfaraz has struggled to find a firm foothold in the Indian Premier League. He went unsold in the last two seasons after his stint with Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2023.

However, his perseverance finally paid off when he made his long-awaited Test debut for India during the home series against England earlier last year. He made an instant impact in the Rajkot Test, where he scored half-centuries in both innings, helping India secure a mammoth 434-run victory.

He continued to play the remaining two matches of the series, registering another fifty in the final game as India clinched the series 4-1. His rising graph hit another milestone when he smashed his maiden Test century in the opening match of the home series against New Zealand.

Form Dips and Omission from England Tour

While the century against New Zealand was a high point, Sarfaraz’s form didn’t hold steady. In the rest of the series, he could only manage 21 runs across four innings. Though he was included in the squad for India’s tour of Australia, he did not make it into the playing XI for any of the five Test matches.

The struggle continued as he was excluded from the ongoing England tour, where India currently trails the hosts 1-2 in the series.

A Story Still in Progress

Sarfaraz Khan’s journey is one of talent, resilience, and transformation. From being written off due to fitness concerns to making an impressive international debut, and now working his way back into contention, his career remains a compelling watch. With determination carved into his now-ripped frame, the Mumbai batter is far from done.

His story proves that sometimes, the toughest setbacks lay the foundation for the most powerful comebacks.
