In a bid to make Indian roads less jarring to the ears, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has proposed a law that could dramatically change how the country sounds in traffic.

Speaking at a recent event, Nitin Gadkari announced his intention to replace the current cacophony of vehicle horns with tones modeled after Indian musical instruments. He suggested sounds like the flute, tabla, violin, and harmonium as pleasant alternatives that could help soften the country’s famously noisy streets.

Beyond the auditory shift, Nitin Gadkari used the platform to highlight broader efforts toward cleaner transportation. With the transport sector accounting for approximately 40 percent of India’s pollution, he emphasized the push toward biofuels such as ethanol and methanol. These initiatives, he noted, are key to the government’s strategy for combating environmental degradation and reducing dependency on traditional fossil fuels.

Reflecting on the growth of the country’s automotive industry, Nitin Gadkari pointed out that India has now become the world’s third-largest automobile market, having surpassed Japan. The sector has seen significant expansion, growing from a valuation of ₹14 lakh crore in 2014 to ₹22 lakh crore today. He also celebrated India’s top position in two-wheeler and car export revenue, underscoring the global competitiveness of the industry.

The announcement of the musical horn proposal sparked a flurry of reactions. While some appreciated the idea for its creativity and cultural resonance, others were quick to critique or poke fun through social media memes. A number of voices online questioned the prioritization of such a law, urging the government to focus instead on improving road conditions and managing traffic more effectively.

As the government looks to blend cultural identity with innovation and sustainability, the road ahead may soon sound very different—perhaps a little more like a symphony and a little less like a siren.

Shardul Thakur opens up on difficulties faced by Indian team on Aus tour 2020-21

 The Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur recently opened up about the difficult and "horrible" treatment the Indian cricket team experienced during their 2020-21 tour of Australia. He revealed that the conditions were far from ideal, with the team facing several challenges, particularly concerning their accommodations. For instance, housekeeping services were often unavailable for several days, forcing players to handle tasks like changing their own bedsheets after long and exhausting days.

However, as per the laws of the country, unmarried couples are not allowed to live together in same house in Saudi Arabia and the Portuguese footballer will break this rule by living together with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez.

The beautiful couple is together since 2016 and the footballer has 5 children out of which 3 are from surrogate mothers.

A lawyer practicing in Saudi Arabia told a portal that though the laws of the country still prohibits unmarried couples living together in a house but now the authorities have started turning a blind eye and they are not persecuting anyone. He further added that this law is usually used whenever something wrong happens such as any crime, etc.

The Al-Nassr fans are already very happy that Cristiano Ronaldo has joined their club and a grand welcome has been given to the Portuguese footballer by them. Cristiano Ronaldo has replaced Vincent Aboubakar and most probably he will be making his debut for the club on January 22.

Meet The 77-Yr Young Grandmother Who Works More Than 80 Hrs/ Week For Her Family

Many times we have heard that age is a number but this statement doesn’t holds true for everyone of us. Most of us think of retiring from work after a certain age such as 55 or 60 yrs and then live our life comfortably but today we will let you know about a 77-yr old grandmother who is a businesswoman and works more than 80 hrs per week and her only motivation is her family.              

We are talking about Urmila Jamnadas Asher who is from Mumbai and is also known as Gujjuben. She has seen many tragedies in life, for example the mother of three lost her 2.5 yr old daughter when the baby girl accidently fall from the building, her younger son lost his life due to heart problem while the reason of older one’s demise was brain tumor. Any other woman may have lost her senses after losing her three kids but Gujjuben become stronger and she ensured that she keeps her family together and don’t let bad times affect their mental state.

If this all was not enough, one more tragedy struck her family when Harsh Asher, Gujjuben’s only grandson met an accident and his face got disfigured. The old lady is now helping her grandson in making his future by helping him in running a small food business GujjuBen Ka Nasta. People can order their favorite snacks and fresh home cooked snacks are delivered to them all over the city of Mumbai. Urmila Jamnadas Asher enters the kitchen in the morning 7 Am and leaves at 9 PM and ensures that all the orders are delivered on time. She has two helpers in kitchen while two men are given the responsibility of delivering the snacks and the accounts and technical things of the business are handled by Harsh Asher.

During the coronavirus lockdown, Harsh’s service was also affected and it was then they thought of starting this business and now it is running pretty well. Harsh stated that his grandmother never asks about the amount they are earning, she is just concerned with two things, whether they are earning enough to run their house and people are happy or not with the food.

Urmila Jamnadas Asher is an inspiration for many of us as her life is an example of courage, determination and hard-work.

#BoycottTanishq Trended On Twitter As Tanishq’s New Ad Preaches To Say NO To Firecrackers

Tanishq, the jewelry brand has once again created a controversy because of its latest advertisement in which four Bollywood actresses (Neena Gupta, Alaya F, Sayani Gupta and Nimrat Kaur) are seen telling how they will like to celebrate Diwali, this year.

One of the actresses says that she won’t be bursting firecrackers and also said everybody else should also refrain from bursting firecrackers. This advice from her didn’t went well with the netizens and a huge uproar was caused against this ad on the social media networks. People didn’t liked that only Hindus are preached about how to celebrate their festivals but nobody has any problem with animals getting killed on Eid and Christmas trees getting chopped on Christmas.

After getting heavily slammed, Tanishq decided to pull the ad down but enough damage was done to its brand and once again #BoycottTanishq started trending on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

This is not the first time when Tanishq has faced the wrath of the netizens. Some time back it released an ad in which a pregnant Hindu girl was shown married to a Muslim man. The jewelry brand was thrashed left and right by the online users for promoting love jihad and the protest gained momentum due to some real incidents in which Hindus lost their lives.
