Give SRK a break….

Nothing is going right for SRK,  Ra One failed on box office, even DON 2 was a full of nuisance and not able to attract viewers while on the other hand Salman Khan is giving blockbuster hits and Aamir Khan is getting good reviews for his show Satyamev Jayate and Shahrukh Khan is nowadays not even on TV nor on silver screen.  

Everything is going bad for poor SRK, but just suddenly for the first time in the history of Indian Premiere League (IPL), his team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is doing well, and when SRK wanted to celebrate that the useless security personnels of Wankhede Stadium (good for nothing people), they stopped him. So what if he was drunk (as they say..useless people), he is SRK, it should be allowed to him, what if he abused them, what if he pushed them, after all he is the best (SRK said so..not me), however I am not sure what he is best in?

I am sure, wait a little bit and if these incident doesn’t get solved, very soon we will hear “ this is happening with me because I am from Minority”

Are you always in hurry ?

Yesterday, while I was returning from my office to my home, a biker at a very high speed, continuously honking, passed by me and it seems to me that he was in a illusion that he is driving on a race track rather  than a busy city road. At the next traffic light, as I was waiting for the red light to go green, I noticed the same biker waiting for the lights to go green. I just smiled, and asked myself “what was the benefit of riding so fast if this guy has to wait here like me? Why are people always in hurry? Why can’t they be more relaxed and calm?

However, every one of us may have experienced a sense of hastiness in our lives. It may be while driving, cooking or finishing our assignments at our work places, etc, But have we ever thought, what are the consequences of this hastiness?

I have sorted out some points which I think we face if we get ourselves into hurried mode:

Firstly, if we are in a hurry to complete some work, we increase the chances of making mistakes. We can give better performance in calm and relax mood than in haste. For example, people driving irrationally fast have more chances of losing control of the vehicle and meet in an accident rather than a person who drives at a control pace.

Secondly, whatever we do in hurry, we never enjoy it. For example, you may have faced a situation where you felt very hungry but you had very less time for lunch, you just ordered something and ate it very quickly. At this point of time, what you eat doesn’t matters; whether you had pizza or burger it makes no difference. For the very simple reason that you didn’t felt the aroma of the food, you didn’t chew it properly; you didn’t felt the taste of each and every ingredient that was in the dish. Simply speaking, you have wasted the dish.

Thirdly, and most importantly, if you are not enjoying what you are doing than you are not enjoying your life. If you are finishing everything then by the completion of every task, you have also finished a part of your life without even enjoying it. So, just sit down and think, whether you want to finish your life or you want to live it.

Do you want to get the BEST job?

So you want to get the best job..a job which is free from recession, you don’t need to work for full day, you can later on convert it into your business, you can make a business empire, and ofcourse it pays handsomely.

So for all of you, who are interested, let me ask you a question. What do you think should be the eligibility criteria? Masters degree..what do you think? No way..degrees are for stupid guys..you are a smart person..you just need to be good enough to read Hindi.

Once you are ready to go in front of public and speak, you can start with a small arrangement at your home or the best way is to start with organizing at the nearest temple. You need to patient because in India it may take time for you attract audience but you will never fail. Indians are most attracted to those gurus who speak on their religious books. Slowly and slowly you will see you are getting famous and the number of your disciples growing, even if you are into your late twenties you will see persons of seventy years or eighty years will be dying to touch your feet and ask for your blessings.

Now you have started getting huge amounts in donation and now it is the time to go to TV channels and ask them to give you time slot. Once you are on TV, you will start getting offers to visit different cities, you will see that politicians will also come to listen you and now you will make political contacts. One thing more you should have registered a NGO till now and started a mentally handicap centre or orphanage or old age home..as this is the time for you to tell people how emotional you are about the society and you will devote your whole life for serving the society. If you have NGO which is engaged in this sort of work you will get more donations.

Now it is the time you should plan a five star ashrams in various cities and don’t worry you need not buy land for whole ashram..come on,  you are a BABA now and you can encroach anybody’s land. Keep your membership fees as low as Rs. 2500 for a month or Rs. 51000 for a year or you can make a lifetime offer of Rs. 250000, which is pretty low for your disciples. This will increase your cash inflow and you can invest in various businesses now and earn profit.

Once you achieve this position you will feel that there are ample opportunities for you in life..and don’t forget me as I am the one who guided you, it will be better if you appoint me as your consultant.

Please note: you may have a question that why to read these books while there are Gurus who are earning good by telling simple solutions like eat wafers, go to beauty parlour, eat tikki, keep branded locks, keep black wallets, go to particular temple. Well these type of gurus get into controversy sooner or later, while the guidance given to you by me is for an everlasting career (until and unless you get caught on sting camera, keep these reporters and journalists far from you).

Spit them out

A teacher was working with a group of underprivileged children,
trying to broaden their horizons through sensory exploration.
With their eyes closed, they would feel objects from pumice
stones to pine cones and smell aromatic herbs and exotic fruits.
Then one day, the teacher brought in a great variety of lifesavers,
more flavors than you could ever imagine.

"Children, I'd like you to close your eyes and taste these,"
announced the teacher. Without difficulty, they managed to identify
the taste of cherries, lemons and mint, but when the teacher
had them put honey flavored lifesavers in their mouths, every one
of the children was stumped.

"I'll give you a hint," said the teacher. "It's something your
Daddy and Mommy probably call each other all the time."

Instantly, one of the children spat the lifesaver out of his mouth
and shouted, "Spit 'em out, you guys, they're assholes!"

What you need to take care of while buying insurance?

Insurance as they say is the protection (to a some extent) from a risk which may arise due to happening of an uncertain event.  Insurance is definitely necessary as it not only protects us but also gives us an option for investments. But what points should we take care of while buying insurance?

1.       

The sum assured must be reasonable – the sum assured must be a reasonable amount and not a very high amount as you are the one who has to pay the premium and if you go for unjustified sum assured then you will be paying unreasonable premium amount every quarter, or half yearly or yearly. The sum assured should also not be very less as you should consider the value of money, inflation and various other factors while deciding on sum assured.

                      For e.g if your monthly salary is Rs. 10000 and you buy an insurance in which your quarterly payment of premium is Rs. 18000, then it means you are paying Rs. 6000 every month for premium which leaves you with just Rs. 4000 for monthly expenses which is a less amount, on the other hand you buy an insurance policy for the period of 10 years and the sum assured is just Rs. 100000 then you can imagine what is the use of this policy as after 10 years Rs. 100000 will of be very little use.

2.     

  Who is your insurance provider? This is a very important question as you should be parking your money with a company who is reliable, has a proven track record, and handles claims quickly and smoothly. In case, of Life insurance particularly, you should choose your insurance provider very carefully as if you die and then your family has to face troubles in getting the claim than what is the use of this insurance.  You are buying life insurance for your family and if they cant get the benefit than it is useless. So make sure that your insurance provider has a good track record.

3.      

Who is your insurance agent? You should be very careful while choosing your insurance agent. There are two types of insurance agent  - freelancer and Employed. The freelancer agents do have targets to fulfill but they are more concerned about their reputation and relation with the consumer and their name is their business. On the other hand, the employed insurance agents are employed with an insurance firm and paid fixed salary and incentives if they reach their targets. In comparison to freelancers the employed insurance agents are under more pressure to fulfill their targets and they can be sometimes pushy while dealing with the clients. So I always prefer a freelancer rather than employed insurance agent.

4.       

Read the document properly – nobody needs to tell you this and you should be knowing it that you should read each and every document carefully before signing it and don’t just rely on the verbal talks with your insurance agent.

Happy Birthday with baked beans

One day I met a sweet gentleman and fell in love. When it became apparent that we would marry, I made the supreme sacrifice and gave up eating beans.

Some months later, on my birthday, my car broke down on the way home from work.  Since I lived in the countryside, I called my husband and told him that I would be late because I had to walk home. On my way, I passed by a small diner and the odour of baked beans was more than I could stand.

With miles  to walk, I figured that I would walk off any ill effects by the time I  reached  home,  so  I  stopped at the dinner and before I knew it, I had consumed three large orders of baked beans.

All the way home, I made sure that I released all the gas. Upon my arrival, my husband seemed excited to see me and exclaimed delightedly: "Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight." He then blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner table. I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my blindfold, the telephone rang. He made me promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call. The baked beans  I had consumed were still affecting me and the pressure was becoming most  unbearable,  so  while  my  husband  was out of the room I seized the opportunity,  shifted  my weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but it smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in front of a pulpwood mill.

I took my napkin from my lap and fanned the air around me vigorously. Then, shifting to the other cheek, I ripped off three more. The stink was worse than stinking cabbage. Keeping my ears carefully tuned to the conversation in the other room, I went on like this for another few minutes. The pleasure was indescribable.  When eventually the telephone farewells signaled  the  end of my freedom, I quickly fanned the air a few more times with  my napkin, placed it on my lap and folded my hands back on it feeling very  relieved  and pleased with myself. My face must have been the picture of innocence when my husband returned, apologizing for taking so long.

He asked me if I had peeked through the blindfold, and I assured him I had not.  At this point, he removed the blindfold, and twelve dinner guests seated around the table chorused: "Happy Birthday!" I nearly died!
